Welcome!  We are a Christian community very much like Fayetteville today, a mix of the old & new! 

Our beautiful church is centrally located in the heart of historic downtown Fayetteville, NC. Hay Street United Methodist Church was dedicated in June of 1835. Our main building features a large sanctuary with beautiful stained glass memorial windows which were made in Salisbury, England in 1907 and original brass chandeliers. 

Our beautiful memorial prayer chapel opened December 14, 1954 and was created in memory of Mary Fields Jones, a church member.  It is the perfect setting for private wedding ceremonies and baptisms. This chapel features high ceilings, original chandeliers, beautiful stained glass windows and a lovely organ.

 Our bell that hangs in the tower was purchased in 1868. Our organ is a two-manual console with tracker action, installed in 1978. Variations in tonal quality are regulated by 24 stops, which control 1,653 pipes!

 Our fellowship hall that is a wonderful setting for large meetings, dinners and private functions.

Our gym, located on the 2nd floor is the perfect place to host private ball games and dances. Our facilities are available for community use, and we have the ability to accommodate 150 comfortably!
