Pastor's Welcome

Welcome to Hay Street United Methodist Church.  We are a Christian community very much like Fayetteville today.  We are a mix of the old and the new.  Our beautiful, historic building is a land- mark downtown.  You can't miss it.  We also have a new family life center with great facilities.  Recently, we hosted the African Children's Choir and opened our contemporary worship space to the community.  It was standing room only!

We have a wonderful contemporary worship service at 8:45 am on Sundays with a great band.  Our traditional service at 11 am features beautiful music in a gorgeous restored church setting.  You will feel the spirt of the "old and the new" when you become a part of this Christ centered chruch.

Hay Street United Methodist Church is committed to supporting mission and service in our community and around the world.  We sponsor mission work teams, missiionaries, and participate in local missiions.  We have a great music program, come and join us.  Our music leaders also teach.  We are committed to youth ministry and seek to be a positive element in reaching young people.

This church provides a wonderful day care program in our recently remodeled facilities.  We hope that you will find us a community of "open hearts, open minds, and open doors".
