Hay Street UMC is dedicated to supporting our needy neighbors through providing our time, our talents, and our gifts to local ministries. Here are a few of the many organizations and ministries of which we are a partner:

The Salvation Army: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. 

Fayetteville Urban Ministry: Fayetteville Urban Ministry is an inter-faith ecumenical community organization that offers people of all faiths a worthy mission to join together and help those in need in Cumberland County, North Carolina.

Cumberland Interfaith Hospitality Network: CIHN--The Cumberland Interfaith Hospitality Network (An Outreach Ministry to Uplift Homeless Families) is to serve as an advocate for the elimination of homelessness, to encourage those in need towards self-sufficiency and to educate the public concerning the extent of homelessness and the means of overcoming it. CIHN provides temporary shelter, meals and assistance in finding suitable housing and employment for homeless families. CIHN is supported by the religious community, businesses, other organizations and individuals who share God's love.
