Global
Hay Street UMC strongly supports Global Missions through our annual contributions to the United Methodist Church Outreach Programs.
We also send Foreign Mission Teams to serve world needs in the field.
In 2007 we sent a Team of Youth and Young Adults to Costa Rica in support of a United Methodist Volunteers In Mission (UMVIM) ministry in San Jose, Costa Rica.
For 2008 we are planning on:
- A team going to Mexico to work with a Missionary Team from our own church, Matt and Angie Stryker.
- A returning team to San Jose, Costa Rica led by our Youth Ministry and including members from all age groups.
